Weekend Scenes

While everyone was getting pumped for football, I went to the library. I haven't been in many years, so I got a shiny new card and got these books. Any reviews? Any I should add to my growing list?

I am such a sucker for cute labels. Jon makes fun.

We made Pete a new perch for his scratching post. I was watching that show My Cat From Hell (it's actually really awesome) and realized that Pete is a tree dweller (as opposed to a bush dweller). So we added the little carpeted perch to make it easier for him to be up high. He loves it.

Is there anything better? I bet I would kick ass on Survivor if I had endless avocados.

The library is one of my favorite places. I love coming home with a stack of books. The History of Love is amazing. Glad I'm not the only one who could give a crap about football!

We love the library! Seriously one of my favorite places. I read the other Jeanette Walls book and it was so good. The History of Love is on my bookshelf, but I haven't got to it yet. And I've read In The Woods and its pretty crazy if I remember correctly.

So whats the deal with tree v. bush dweller. Is it basically just how high or low they like to kick it?

I've only read A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, but I did really like it. He's a great writer. The History of Love is on my "to-read" list. We watch "My Cat From Hell" too! Love that show. It totally makes me want to get those little shelves they can hop up on.

In the woods is really good- after that you must read THE LIKENESS (same author.) I still think about that book!

I really liked Half Broke Horses, have you started reading it yet?

I just finished Divergent. It reminded me of The Hunger Games. It was a fun fast read.
