Organize!

An organizational post in January, how original! :) Our spices are kept in two little cabinets above the stove and there have been a handful of times where I have mis-reached for something only to have it a.) fall into the dish I'm making or b.) narrowly miss my feet. Both of which results in some lovely language. I picked up two little graduated shelves at The Container Store* to solve my problems.

BEFORE

 The more spice-y bunch.

 The more bake-y bunch.

AFTER

Look, I can't believe I'm showing you my spice rack either, but hopefully this can help just one person!
*the most amazing store ever!

I just organized my spices too. :) I used the organizers from the infomercial and they're great!

"how original" ahahah. That green lidded garlic salt is literally the only "spice" I cook with. I love it. Fab organizing.

I'm a little obsessed with the Container Store They have mad it possible for me and my boyfriend to squeeze 8,000 pairs of shoes into a tiny NY apartment.

I did tons of organizing yesterday in my closet and a big trip to Goodwill afterwards! The kitchen is on my list too!

i just dropped my salt shaker on the kitchen floor and it shattered to pieces because my kitchen is a mess. alex bought these amazing organizing racks from csn stores for our pots/pans and other shelves but our spices are such a mess.

you've inspired me. i'm going to look into doing something about mine!
