Time for a new backpack

The last time I bought a new backpack I bet I was in school, I think I had a couple rotating during the college days.  But now that I don't need one for heavy books, I can invest in a cute one that won't get as abused. With a baby I am carrying more stuff these days and not just for him, but for me too. I usually need a change of clothes also (hello, spit up) so one of these cute packs would come in handy.

One week to go...

One week from today we will find out if we are having a little boy or girl! I have bought two baby things so far, one is for a girl (I just couldn't resist!) and the other is gender neutral. I can't wait to shop for this little one. So far, I have spent a lot of time browsing all the cute stuff on Winter Water Factory and BlaBla.

As of late

I just love a good re-idea. Little stacks in saltine cracker packs. I'm pretty sure I have finished off an entire sleeve of the old design in the past, but I shouldn't have. I had been craving these and was happy to see they are now in these easy to manage packs and with sea salt. I bought them from CVS today like a granny.

I think I saw a commercial for these and made my husband go to the store for me and pick them up. They are as good as you might think. So good that I ate a bowl of them real late at night the other night, like I was in college. And I am not a cereal girl. Delicious!

I cannot wait to get myself to a Staples to check out the Martha Stewart with Avery office line! Cute labels, some in Kraft paper? Sold! It's a good thing this didn't come out before my wedding because I'm sure I would have gone overboard on the scalloped Kraft labels for something. The stand up file folders are cute too.

Happy Friday! I am mailing out my Valentine's today and can't wait to show them to you next week. Also, our backyard landscape designer is coming tomorrow and I'm dying to get some much needed beautification going on back there.

Kirsten's baaack! And she is looking better than ever. I can't wait for her new movie to come out this winter where she won best actress at Cannes. She has done so many movies, at total different ends of the spectrum and I have to say one of the most under rated movies is Drop Dead Gorgeous. That is a funny movie. Ok, spill, what's your fave Kiki D flick? (It's ok if you say Jumanji.)

What a super cute idea, drybar. This hip little salon just opened in Los Angeles that just does blow outs with a wash for $35. No cuts or color. Imagine you get an impromptu date and have no time to go home and change, just pop in for a sleek blowout and no boy will notice your wrinkled clothes, ha! And you can chose from different blow outs like ordering off a bar menu! 'Straight up' (think straight and basic) and 'Southern Comfort' (think bigger and bouncy), to name a couple. Not to mention, this place is a design lover's dream! Next trip to LA I am totally going there.

I hope one day I have little girls...

...and they look just like this! The bun, that twirl, those dresses! Ahhhh.
