As of late

I just love a good re-idea. Little stacks in saltine cracker packs. I'm pretty sure I have finished off an entire sleeve of the old design in the past, but I shouldn't have. I had been craving these and was happy to see they are now in these easy to manage packs and with sea salt. I bought them from CVS today like a granny.

I think I saw a commercial for these and made my husband go to the store for me and pick them up. They are as good as you might think. So good that I ate a bowl of them real late at night the other night, like I was in college. And I am not a cereal girl. Delicious!

I cannot wait to get myself to a Staples to check out the Martha Stewart with Avery office line! Cute labels, some in Kraft paper? Sold! It's a good thing this didn't come out before my wedding because I'm sure I would have gone overboard on the scalloped Kraft labels for something. The stand up file folders are cute too.

Happy Friday! I am mailing out my Valentine's today and can't wait to show them to you next week. Also, our backyard landscape designer is coming tomorrow and I'm dying to get some much needed beautification going on back there.

New York Roundup: The Martha Stewart Show

I'm back! I had an absolute blast spending the week in New York City. I am going to break down the trip in theme posts and not go day-by-day as that would get quite overwhelming. First up, my experience at a taping of Martha.
{Dressed and ready to be on camera!}
{Waiting in line outside}

{Going through security}

{The set, sooo beautiful and bright in person}

{Joey, the warm-up guy}

{Ms. Stewart herself}

{The loot}

{Oh hey! There's me on TV, Mom!
Good thing I got that yellow manicure before my trip}

So overall, it was a super fun way to start off the day. Everyone on her staff treated us awesome and kept thanking us over and over for being there. The commercial breaks were exciting because they would crank Top 40 songs loud and Joey would give us loot. One of the highlights of the show was when the crafter was surprised by a proposal from her boyfriend during her segment! Everyone was shocked and "ooohing" and "awwwing". I must say, the camera does add ten pounds, because Martha looked so much better in person (but it might have been her 5 inch platforms}. Also, she did appear a bit, shall we say, cold. Doesn't change my love for her one bit though.

Input Needed

I know a lot of my readers are worldly gals, so I wanted to ask for your New York City must-see spots! A favorite ribbon store? A place to get a fantastic bloody mary? Share it here. So far, for sure I am seeing a taping of the Martha show, meeting a fellow blogger and going to see a Broadway show. Help me fill in the gaps with great places to eat, drink and shop. Thank you!

I hope to see the far right tootsies in person this March.
Who do you think those gorgeous Yves Saint Laurent gold shoes belong to?

None other than Martha Stewart!!

I just submitted my request for tickets today.
Please think good thoughts!
It would be a very good thing.
