Well, we always knew our little home gym might one day turn into a baby's room and the time has come. Our workout room (seen on this post) is going to be transformed into a fun yet peaceful room for our little boy. I am thinking lots of white with accents of aqua blue, yellow and oranges. Where do all great rooms begin? With inspiration boards, of course!

At last, a guest bedroom reveal
We moved into our house March 2009 and here it is September 2010 and the guest bedroom is 80% finished. How do you like that? Clearly other areas of the house have been more important. And we have had a few brave guests in the unfinished guest room, but now it is ready for anyone.

Before.
After!
We painted one wall a bright color, Jon installed crown molding and we had a chandelier hung.
And now I smile every time I walk past this room. There are a lot of things I am planning on adding, like a proper headboard, bed skirt to cover up that box spring, a great rug and maybe an armchair.

Friday
This week flew and I'm so happy it did. Last night I made my first quiche. I adapted the recipe from Smitten Kitchen. Next time I will make a lot of changes, but there won't be a "next time" for awhile. Do you know what and how much goes into a quiche?!? Heavy cream, sour cream, butter, cheese, oh my god, I need to go to the gym. And do you like how once the rainy weather hit my blog is now all about comfort food? Ha. Not planned, just waiting for things like fabric and help from Jon to finish some home projects.

Psst: The candles are not staying, if you were thinking, "it's cute but....."
Have a great weekend.
