All in the suit that you wear

I know people aren't traditionally as excited about what the groom and his men wear to the wedding, but I actually am! Since we are having a (hot) summer wedding outdoors, I really didn't want the boys in icky rented polyester tuxedos. How about lightweight breathable cotton, in gray? Sounds perfect. Only you can't rent gray suits from anywhere around here. So instead of asking Jon's guys to buy a full suit ($$$), we opted for the pants and a vest from J.Crew. Jon will of course be in the full suit.
