Weekend Scenes

A wee late on this one. 

I live for spring and summer weekends, this past one was a goodie. 

I don't know what this is. Some pretty plant we saw at the Ruth Bancroff plant sale. Also seems like a great spot for our "engagement" photos, though we shall see.

I bought these three plants at the sale and planted them in some pots that had dead plants in them. Ahhh, color and life again! Potting plants is so satisfying to me. Let's just hope they last. I hear the worst thing you can do to plants is care too much or too little about them.

All that gardening calls for a pretty snack! I got a four pack of macaroons at the Farmer's Market and Jon was in disbelief that I paid $5 for a pack of 4. And while I admit that is a little high, I really have no problem splurging on a high quality sweet and supporting a local business. He totally changed his mind when he ate one though. :)
