Been in the kitchen

Fresh and clean kitchen for 2011. What to make? I wanted to add a few more things to my repertoire this year. We have a bunch we rotate all the time, but it's time to mix it up. I searched through all my January and February issues of Martha Stewart and Sunset magazine from years past to come up with a few.

Lemon chicken on a bed of spinach. Eh. Too lemon-y, but I will totally serve up more meats on spinach beds, which wilt just a tiny bit and its an easy way to get in greens.

Grown up grilled cheese with Brie, Turkey, Apple and Arugula. Home run.

Manicotti stuffed with spinach and ricotta. Great, but not amazing.
Will have to tweak this a bit.

That's all I got for now. Anyone have a great new dinner recipe to share?

There's an everyday food recipe I'm loving right now, just made it for dinner last night. Sausage, lentil & kale (but I use collard greens instead) soup. It's just so yummy and warm in this cold weather. http://www.marthastewart.com/recipe/sausage-lentil-and-kale-soup

Those sandwiches and the manicotti look delicious...

Actually, I haven't tried a really good new dinner recipe in a while... Gotta get on that. But yours look delish, and I'm pretty much obsessed with all things lemony, so I bet I'd love the first one!

These all look so good especially the grilled cheese and manicotti! I'm hungry now. I wish my boyfriend would consider sandwiches dinner because that one would so be on the menu... perhaps with a broccoli cheddar soup!

Loved Martha's grown-up grilled cheese sandwiches. I did a variation that used bacon, cheddar, and pickles...it was to die for.
