Lemons!

Today turned into the best day ever when one of our neighbors gave us permission to hit up her overflowing Meyer Lemon Tree. I went a little crazy, so I tried to make sure I used every last lemon somehow without letting them spoil.
{Lemonade, obviously}

{Ice cubes with lemon peel to make fragrant cubes}

{Freezing lemon juice to always have on hand}

{Threw some down the garbage disposal to make it smell fresh}

I love lemons... I wish I could have a lemon tree but no chance. I live in Finland.

They look perfect. Almost fake. What nice neighbors you have! That ice tray idea is great. I'll be using that for sure.

I love that first pic and I adore lemons in general. Great use of the lemons. I love the idea of freezing the juice for later use. Brillant!

my boyfriend has practically an orchard at his house... it's awesome! I love that garbage disposal idea. Usually i just use soap or laundry detergent but that sounds a whole lot cheaper and fresher! hope you're having a great time in new york <3
