Weekend Scenes

Got a fun new wine to try. I could not pass up that label, could you? And it has been exactly one month since I cut myself off from beer and it's been a breeze. No problems, yet. Also, today marks 5 months until the wedding, eep!

Some new Lululemon ikat yumminess to motivate me to start training for Bay to Breakers in May. Some people may not need to train for a 7.46 mile footrace, but my running history usually consists of one mile on a treadmill before I get bored or start cramping.

These are what your Hunter boots will look like if you use them in the yard and they experience all the elements. Not so nice huh? They could beat up your splash-in-puddles-on-city-sidewalks Hunters. Who am I kidding? I want another pair! At any rate, they got lots of use this weekend while Jon and I cleaned up and prepped our garden.

The only thing "Sprinkles" about this batch of red velvet cupcakes I made were those dots. Man, it is hard to make a lot of things without an electric stand mixer. I have waited long and patiently but now the ultra important KitchenAid mixer has landed itself on our registry while I dream of baking a better cupcake.

I'm a sucker for wine labels too! Were you doing a science experiment in your yard? How could that even happen?! Such a bummer.

The cupcakes were beautiful--I am sure they tasted good, too (if it wasn't for this damn wheat allergy thing, I would have dug in!!)

If you like White Zin, I have a bottle of Brassfield White Zin for you :)
