I have got backyard inspiration on the brain.
I am ready to get a move on with our outdoor space.
If you remember, this is what part of our backyard looked like when we moved in.
Scary, huh? And all that we have done with this space is remove the pool.
Now my best friend wants to have her bridal shower here--enter: fire-under-my-butt.
Also, when we first got this house, I was spray painting this, fixing that, and so on. Then we entered the lull where we had done the things we needed to make the place livable, but there is still a lot of beautification that needs to take place. Besides the backyard, we plan to design the guest room and home office next.

oooh, nothing like an event to get your house/backyard together!! Sometimes it's the only thing that motivates me. I can't believe you took out that pool! ..and can't wait to see your after shots! ...also, what a good wife you are sending cookies to the husband at work. adorable!
I cannot wait to see! We did our housewarming to light the fire under our butt! We got a ton done but now we have had a break and need to get back to it.
By the way, when can we see the backyard without the pool. And I need some pictures for inspiration, our house needs major help.
