Bulk Shopping

Do you get silly PR emails you delete before reading? I get a bunch, and most all of them are not relevant to me or this blog. Today I got one notifying me of Bulk Shopping Week. We shop bulk sometimes, but not as much as we should. Whenever there is a new post over at Zero Waste Home, I am reminded how I can be living more green. Tonight's shopping trip is an example of a bulk shopping win. We are  planning on making some slow cooked carnitas and needed bay leaves.

Lose: $6.39.

Win: $0.19 (And yes they are also organic)

This most boring post ever, brought to you by Holly.
We still sing this when we pull into the Whole Foods parking lot.

Hahaha this made me laugh. My favorite thing is when you get those PR emails, ignore them, but find someone else doing that giveaway the next day!

Agree with Lindsay...always fun/funny to see who posts based on those emails. :)

I actually didn't know you could buy herbs bulk, and I go to Whole Foods EVERY WEEK. I fail at life. Also, that zerowastehome site stresses me out. They aren't messing around with that no waste business.

When I first started reading this I totally thought you meant buying in BULK, as in Costco style. Lol... And yeah that Zero Waste blog just made me feel like a terrible person. haha :P
