We finally got around to visiting the
Ruth Bancroft Garden this weekend and now I have fresh new inspiration for our yard. The garden focuses on water conserving plants (think lots of gorgeous succulents and cacti) and design.
Taking this photo, I got too close and one of the points stuck me through my jeans and made me bleed!
Our loot! They were also having a plant sale, so we couldn't resist.

that place looks like a lot of fun!
Just found your blog via Sweet Pie Pumpkin Noodle's Vanity feature...(love your vanity by the way). I composed a similar post about summer succulents from Minneapolis' Contemporary Sculpture Garden. They are my favorite! http://hilaryinspired.wordpress.com/2010/08/23/summer-succulents/
Excited about following a new blogger! ;-)
