At last, a guest bedroom reveal

We moved into our house March 2009 and here it is September 2010 and the guest bedroom is 80% finished. How do you like that? Clearly other areas of the house have been more important. And we have had a few brave guests in the unfinished guest room, but now it is ready for anyone.

Before.

After!

We painted one wall a bright color, Jon installed crown molding and we had a chandelier hung.
And now I smile every time I walk past this room. There are a lot of things I am planning on adding, like a proper headboard, bed skirt to cover up that box spring, a great rug and maybe an armchair.

Sources: Pillows from Restoration Hardware, Anthropologie and One Kings Lane. Lamp and duvet cover from Marshall's. Chandelier and side table are vintage.
