{Strawberry Daiquiri Sorbet}
I feel like I come up with the best stuff when food is about to go bad. Strawberries from the farmers market are about a million times more flavorful than ones from the grocery store, but go bad three times as fast. You blink and they go bad unless you gobble them up. So here I am thinking of all the things I can do with them and decide on frozen daiquiri, duh! I wish I had a hard fast recipe for you gals, but I just kinda threw stuff in the blender. Here is my best guess:
Holly's Boozy Strawberry Sorbet
A cup full of ice
Two handfuls of strawberries
Juice from one lime
2 tablespoons white sugar
A splash or two of lime mineral water (carbonation is the key)
A bunch of the best RUM you can get your mitts on. I used Havana Club.
If you put more liquid, you will of course end up with a real daiquiri,
but I think those go down to quickly and I wanted to savour this a bit.
