Weekend Scenes

This weekend was jam packed, in a good way. We celebrated Landon turning 3, father's day and my best friend turning 27. All the while the bay area cranked out the heat! Here are some snaps from the weekend.

that encourages spiderwebs, so I trimmed a bunch back 

and made a little bouquet for the kitchen.

Our family grew this week

On 3-11-11 my brother and sister-in-law welcomed a daughter, Avery Harper to their family.  Here you see a sweet moment between big brother and his new baby sis. Everyone is healthy and happy.

Our Christmas

This is by far the first Christmas where I have the least amount of pictures. I guess that means I was enjoying myself, eh? Good food, good family, infinity and beyond. (Shout out to lil L)

Withdrawl

Going through a bit of Giants baseball withdrawl. It is better for my waistline though, since 4 nights a week no longer revolve around beer and snacks. My nephew (dressed as a dinosaur) clearly has the fever.

Don't mind my Stacy London gray streak. Going back blonde on Saturday, woo hoo!

Bad Aunt

The scene: About a month ago my brother, sister in law and 2 year old nephew were taking off from some event. This is where my mom and I usually get our last little Landon fix while he is being strapped into his car seat. He is at the age where it's still fun to say "Landon, what sound does a cow make?" and hear him moo, etc. Me, not thinking it out, asked him what sound a giraffe makes. Puzzled look, then he squeaked out some weird sound, that sounded much more like a 2 year old than a giraffee.  My response? "Mememe". End scene.

Last night my mom is babysitting Landon and he is lining up all his animals and they are playing the same "what sound does ____ make" game (I swear we do other fun stuff with him), when she asks him about a giraffe. His quick response? "Mememe".
