Birthday Brunch at Bouchon

One of the things I wanted to do in Vegas for my birthday was go to a really nice brunch somewhere. I quickly decided on the famous french restaurant, Bouchon. We were staying at the Palazzo and it was located in the sister hotel, The Venetian. While we were walking over there I was on the phone with Jon and having a normal "happy birthday" phone call except he was asking me where we were going, how we were getting there and what I was wearing-none of what I thought was out of the ordinary.

Then we sit down and our waiter takes our drink order. I, of course, order a bloody mary, thinking everyone will be getting mimosas and such. Nope, everyone orders waters, tea and coffee. Um, okay, whatever. Then the man you see in the picture comes over and asks if I'm Holly. "Yes...." And then he tells me that Jon wanted my birthday to be special so he bought us a bottle of Rose! He starts pouring it up and I start misting. Everyone knew! Simple and sweet surprise but it just made me love and miss him even more!

Cheers! When Jon was on the phone with the manager he was describing me and the girls and the manager asked Jon "are they all wearing hearts?" and Jon said "Yes, that's them! And Holly's in a gold heart!" Those lil puppies sure came in handy.
